“ Stopped by for a quick lunch. Excellent chicken fried chicken dinner. Best okra I’ve ever had. Son had a hamburger and he said it was very good. Loved the atmosphere. Waitresses were super friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back. ”
“ This was the best food in the state! Loved the train car and the service was awesome. Our server was so kind and attentive and told us all the history of the place. It was amazing. Get the pie! ”
“ I truly love this food. They have the greatest salad bar in the nation. There is something in that salad bar with cornbread in it, and it’s absolutely delicious. I live 8 hours away now, but I would drive that long just for this food. It’s that good. And they respect the hours they keep, too. The strawberry pie is wonderful! ”
“ Glad I found this spot. Ordered 3 piece catfish came with gumbo, brown beans, crinkle fries and hush puppies, and salad bar. Washed it down with sweet tea. Excellent food will definitely be stopping back in when I’m back in this area ”
“ Super awesome spot! Food was amazing and the servers were very attentive and friendly. Prices were good and the theme of the place was really nice with the caboose, A great place if your driving through like we were ** edit ** Came back another visit and the weather was really nice so we asked to sit outside at the tables and it was awesome Great service and food as before ”
“ Great place to eat! Everyone is friendly and the food is fantastic. Do not miss the chicken tenders. I don't know what they put in the batter but it's the best you will ever taste. All of this inside an old Pullman style train car. If there's a down side it's they're only open Thursday-Saturday. We're traveling visitors who return to the area about twice a year for fishing and fun..timing is everything. This time around we missed them due to the hours of operation. We understand economics and will definitely be back one day soon. ”
“ My wife asked where I wanted to go eat for my birthday...I did some searching and ran across this train diner on Google maps. Thought it would be nice to try. So glad I did. It was a great choice. Had the New York Strip and fries. Great salad bar. Friendly service. Very much enjoyed ”
“ Great food. Great service. I had the 2 piece chicken strips, mashed potatoes and a single trip to a really good salad. My husband had a Philly steak stuffed baked potato. He really enjoyed it. Harley recommend. Save room for pie. ”
